This porcelain plate has a greenish gray body and is coated with greenish gray glaze. There are clear cracks on both the interior and exterior of the plate. A thin layer of glaze is applied to the mouth rim of the plate, while no glaze is applied to the purple-colored foot. The plate has an eight-edged mallow-petal-shaped mouth that turns slightly outwards. It has a shallow belly, a short ring foot, and sloping internal and external walls. With superior shape, glaze, and decorative patterns, the plate is a treasure from the Ge kiln.
